There comes a time in our lives when we seek Inner Healing.
Changing ourselves often requires Inner Healing. We stop, take at look at where we are, and say, "That's it, something has to change". We look around, realise we can't change the world...except by changing ourselves.
Recovery and moving on from the things of the past to the future we choose. To a greater Mind/Body/Spirit health.
Inner Healing - words full of a feeling of comfort, with a depth of sanctuary, rest, relief and reconciliation. It is a gift that has been given to us so that we may restore health or equilibrium to our bodies, our spirits, our minds, our families, our lives. It connotes the change for the better. And gives us hope. Sometimes it requires faith, personal or inner strength, and lots of patience.
Often, when we seek Inner Healing, the service of other people is needed... doctors, naturopaths, spiritual leaders, healers from many different modalities... medicine, herbs, prayer, love, music, and so on.
Experience shows that people often find their own way once they recognize the need to heal, accept it as what they choose to do, and open themselves up to the opportunity. Our inner resources are often called into play, and when we release fear, can be a source of enormous strength.
"Life is full of smiles, sniffles, and sneezes, with sniffles pre-dominating."
Often times we hit a bump on our road of life. Deep inner pain surfaces with sharpness and intensity. Memories we would rather forget, resurface. Other times, we feel like a weight is heavy on our shoulders. Our brows feel furrowed, our hearts heavy. Perhaps loneliness, even despair, may be an unremitting presence as we agonize over past hurts and issues. We may need to forgive or be forgiven by ourselves or others. This may be our time to choose a different path in life. It may be our time to set new goals, achieve inner healing and look to a brighter future.
If you think what's happened in the past is an insurmountable obstacle read Kim Phunc's story. It will open you up to the enormous potential we each have to heal. Her experiences as a child during the Vietnam War is more horrendous than most of us will ever have to bear. Bless her for her courage and her inner healing that set such a good example for so many of us.The story of Kim Phunc will inspire you to seek forgiveness in your heart for many. Forgiveness of others is for our benefit, and allows us to heal.
Please Note:

He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us.
