Breast Cancer Prayer at 4 P.M.

Join Breast Cancer Prayer at 4 P.M.

Breast Cancer may bring out the best in people. So many people reach out with help. I have learned prayer is one of the most powerful ways to help another person.

After I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, one of the best things that happened was the number of people who, on finding out that I had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, in their next breath said, I will pray for you. That's why I have started Breast Cancer Prayer At 4 P.M.

Many people said they would ask their friends, family and prayer groups to pray for me. Most of these were people who didn’t even know me, or didn’t know me well. It became the most comforting thing I could hear. “I will pray for you”. I was on a very lonely journey but not alone. Whether you have breast cancer or it is a loved one, I know that you are on this journey, too, and Breast Cancer Prayer can help.. Another reason why I have started Breast Cancer Prayer At 4 P.M.

I had not been feeling well for over a year and was so exhausted I had to push myself to get through a day. So when I was diagnosed, I did not feel confident about the outcome. I had had major surgeries before and always “knew” I would make it through. That wasn’t how I felt this time. This time I “knew” I didn’t have the strength to make it through surgery. Being a hypnotherapist, and using all the resources at hand didn’t change a thing.

Many people asked exactly when my surgery would be and said they would pray at that exact moment, and that they would ask others to do so.

There was a joyous group around me in the pre-op room but I kept thinking I might never see anyone again. Just seconds before the nurse came to wheel me into surgery I felt a very intense warm glow in my chest area. I can’t describe it any better than that. Instinctively my hand reached out to touch it. I knew in that moment it was the prayers. I knew that no matter what happened, it was God’s will. As a matter of fact, I knew it would all turn out just the way it was meant to be for me. No matter which way it turned out, I knew, it would be for the best. Now, I, too, felt joyous as I was wheeled down the hallway. Yes, and I felt very, very thankful for the power of prayer.

I am deeply grateful to all those who prayed for me. I realised it was and is the most important thing we can do for each other. It was nice to know that included in their prayers were my medical staff. Many blessings to them!

I hope you will join with us in Breast Cancer Prayer At 4 P.M.

So many people around the world are in need of prayers. Some years ago my mother and I, who lived at a distance from each other, would pray at 4 p.m. regarding a specific problem. I don’t remember why it was 4 p.m. but 4 p.m. worked. It not only made me feel close to my mother, I felt that I could make a difference. I felt stronger. It was really nice to turn it over to God.

A counseller taught me that instead grieving at a sad news story, I should offer up a prayer. It certainly helped. Right in that moment, there was something I could do.

It’s important when we, or someone we love, are ill, grieving, or suffering in any way to ‘take back control’ of our lives, our emotions, our minds and our hearts.

Once you join the Breast Cancer band, there will be moments when your future (the next minute, the next hour, the next week or year) may feel pretty bleak. You will almost certainly feel overwhelmed; often afraid; frequently very, very lonely. There will be times you will be angry. Not able to sleep. Or you may feel dragged down by emotional and physical pain, sick and tired of yet another appointment, another test, and just sick and tired of being sick and tired. Watching someone suffer may be more than you can bear. You may feel very helpless, sometimes hopeless.

Prayer helps to relieve all things. It is a turning over, something to focus on beyond ourselves. When we are doing all we can, it is a simple acknowledgment that we need help, whether for ourselves or others. Needing other people is a wonderful gift that is given. Isn’t it wonderful when someone says “I need you”. We all need to be needed. Breast Cancer Prayer at 4 P.M can help to fill that need.

Since I started on this Breast Cancer journey, I have met many people who need and ask for prayers so I have decided to re-institute 4 p.m. prayer specifically for people who are going through the trauma of Breast Cancer and all it brings. I call it Breast Cancer Prayer at 4 P.M. It just helps to have a specific time to do something. It only needs to be a moment or two to say a small prayer.

If you so desire, join with me and many others, spiritually, , in Breast Cancer Prayer at 4 P.M. by saying a brief prayer of well-being for others who walk the Breast Cancer path.

My 4 p.m. is PST. I honestly don’t know if it makes a difference if yours is exactly the same time as mine. I believe it’s the sincere intention that counts. If we mentally think in our minds of others who are praying for this purpose and join our prayer to theirs, I believe our prayers are heard as one.

The Bible says “for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19

People come to this website from all over the world. Let us join together in our love and concern for ourselves and others. There is power in prayer and power in numbers.

Let us pray together for blessings that God is already willing to give us; blessings that are dependent solely on our asking for them. That is His love and ours joined as one.

I love you each for sharing this journey with me.

Thank you.

Sylvia
